COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College split its women's swimming double dual on Friday night, topping Campbellsville (Ky.) 41-26 and losing to Cumberlands (Ky.) 64-30 at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center Natatorium.
Kate Spaulding paced the Blue Raiders, winning the 200-yard breaststroke and finishing second in the 200-individual medley.
The two minute and 38.89 second finish in the 200-breast was a season-best time for Spaulding, while also touching under the NAIA national "B" cut standard for the event. The freshman from Springfield, Ky., finished her 200-IM in 2:26.88.
Lindsey Wilson had a pair of season-best performances in the 200-freestyle.
Sarah Wood finished second with a time of 2:04.68 and Stephanie Davis touched in 2:08.60.
Deah Reese posted a season-best time of 2:42.57 in the 200-backstroke to finish second, while Wood earned a national "B" cut in the 500-free with a showing of 5:36.0.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Jan. 21 at Transylvania (Ky.) University in Lexington, Ky.
