BARDSTOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team won its first tournament of the season, routing the field at the St. Catharine Fall Invitational by 16 strokes at the Bardstown Country Club's Maywood Course.

A two-day total of 658 (323-335) strokes lifted the Blue Raiders to the win, while Campbellsville (Ky.) was second with a 674 (342-332) and Pikeville (Ky.) rounded out the top three with a 721 (362-359).

Three Lindsey Wilson golfers earned a spot on the all-tournament team, led by Kelsey Joslyn in second place overall with a 158 (79-79). Sara Koizumi carded a 161 (78-83) for third place and Jennifer Mackinnon finished fourth with a 166 (83-83).

Also scoring for the Blue Raiders were Amy Brown in a tie for seventh place with a 173 (83-90) and Candace Stacy in 10th with a 178 (85-93). Courtney Swindle competed as an individual and finished with a 177 (88-89), which was good for ninth place overall.

Campbellsville's Katie White captured the individual medal with a tournament-best 154 (74-80).

Joslyn finished as the only golfer even on par-three holes and was second in overall birdies with four. Koizumi led the field with 21 pars, helping Lindsey Wilson lead the tournament in total pars with 78, the next closes was Campbellsville with 62.

The Blue Raiders are back in action one more time during the fall, playing in the Lady Flames Shootout on Oct. 29-30, hosted by Lee (Tenn.) University at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn.
