COLUMBIA, Ky. – Corey Hall took first place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of two minutes and 0.91 seconds, which is also good for Lindsey Wilson College's first national "A" cut of the season as the Blue Raiders split against Campbellsville (Ky.) and Union (Ky.) College on Saturday at the Holloway Canter Natatorium.
The Blue Raiders topped Campbellsville 70-11, but came up short against the Bulldogs, 96-24.
Two Lindsey Wilson swimmers earned first-place finishes on the day, including Hall's 200-fly and Logan Wetzel in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:03.31.
Hall backed up his winning performance with a pair of second-place showings as well. The first came in the 100-fly, where he earned a national "B" cut in 54.77 seconds. Hall also touched second in the 400-individual medley with a time of 4:38.02.
