Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team scored 23 points off 24 Warner (Fla.) turnovers en route to a 58-38 win at the Turner Athletic Center.
Ashley Rainey -- the reigning Mid-South Conference Player of the Week -- recorded game highs with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Rainey connected on 11 of 12 shots on her way to her NAIA-leading 12th double-double of the season.
While Rainey led the offense, the Blue Raider defense was stellar allowing a season-low 38 points.
In addition to the 38 points and 24 miscues, Warner (3-4) shot just 25.5 percent (13-of-51) from the field, including 3-for-19 from 3-point range.
While shutting down the Royals, the Blue Raiders also dominated the glass. Lindsey Wilson out-rebounded Warner 50-28 on its way to a season-best three-game winning streak.
Brooke Garmon led the Royals with 15 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Jan. 18, as the Blue Raiders travel to Webber International (Fla.) in Babson Park, Fla.
