WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Elena Nikolaeva posted an "A" cut in the 100-yard backstroke and 50-freestyle as the Lindsey Wilson College women's swimming team lost at Cumberlands (Ky.) 134-70 on Saturday afternoon.

Nikolaeva touched the wall in one minute and two seconds in the 100-back and finished with a time of 25.79 seconds in the 50-free.

Three other Blue Raiders posted national "B" cuts, including Sarah Wood in the 200-free (2:05.73), Kate Spaulding in he 100-breaststroke (1:13.59) and Kelsey Marshall in the 200-breat (2:40.29).

Lindsey Wilson falls to 5-3 in dual-meet action. The Blue Raiders won't return to the pool until 6 p.m. CT on Jan. 18 against Milligan (Tenn.) and Union (Ky.) College in Milligan College, Tenn.
