Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Four Blue Raiders in double figures wasn't enough as the Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team fell 81-74 today to No. 17-ranked Georgetown College today at the Davis-Reid Alumni Gymnasium.
The No. 23-ranked Blue Raiders fall to 18-10 overall and 6-8 in the Mid-South with one week left in the regular season.
While four players scored in double figures -- led by Jasmine Brimm's 18 points -- Lindsey Wilson struggled to be efficient shooting just 35.7 percent (25-of-70) from the floor. The Blue Raiders made just 25 percent (7-of-28) threes.
Lindsey Wilson also committed 18 turnovers in the game.
The Tigers (19-8, 11-4) also posted four double figure scorers led by Jessica Waddle and Andrea Howard each with 15 points.
Lindsey Wilson battled back from 19 points down midway through the second half and closed with five points on two different occasions inside the final minute, but that would be as close as they would get in the loss.
Lindsey Wilson's Tiffany Williams added a season-high 16 points while Ashley Frankin chipped in 14 points. Ashley Rainey added her 13th double-double of the season with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 23 as Lindsey Wilson hosts Campbellsville University at Biggers Sports Center.
