BEREA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's cross country team scored 129 team points on Saturday to finish third at the Berea (Ky.) College Invitational.

The Blue Raiders finished behind host Berea (19 points) and Campbellsville (Ky.) University (58) in the team race. Kentucky State University (188), University of Pikeville (Ky.) (209) and Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College (250) completes the six-team field.

Lindsey Wilson freshman John-Paul Williamson earned the runner-up finish in the 68-man field with a time of 26 minutes and 42 seconds over the 8,000-meter course. The finish is Williamson's second top-5 of the season.

Gary Korir joined Williamson in the top-10 with a ninth place finish. Korir crossed the finish line with a time of 27:57. David Lee posted 29:50 on the day to end in 27th position.

Ben Graham (47th) and William Marsh (49th) also scored for the Blue Raiders with times of 34:46 and 36:12 respectively. J.R. Northcutt and Ronald Williams complete the Blue Raider harriers with finishes of 54th and 57th respectively.

Berea's Austin Houchens won the event in 26:20.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Sept.29 at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.
