COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson women's swimming falls to Asbury (Ky.) University 128-113 at Holloway Center Natatorium on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders were led by Laura Stephenson,Elena Nikolaeva and Susan Herrington in the pool as they took a close loss to the Eagles. It was the best showing for the women's team against Asbury.

Stephenson continued to post winning times in the pool as she won the 200 yard butterfly (2:14.43), the 100 yard butterfly (1:00.53) and the 200 yard individual medley (2:19.38). Stephenson was also on the 200 yard medley relay team that came in first.

Nikolaeva won the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.92), the 200 yard backstroke (2:24.19) and was third in the 500 yard freestyle (5:58.53). Nikolaeva was also on the winning 200 yard medley relay team that placed first in a time of 1:57.67. Susan Herrington placed second in two events, the 200 yard butterfly (2:26.50) and the 100 yard butterfly (1:08.05).

Sarah Wood took second in the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 2:10.95, second in the 200 yard freestyle and placed fourth in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:58.00) for the Blue Raiders.

Kelsey Marshall won the 200 yard breaststroke (2:41.83) and placed third in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:16.20. Marshall was also on the winning 200 yard medley relay team. Natalie Miller was also on the 200 yard medley relay team and she placed fourth in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:02.68, three second behind teammate Paige Lewis who won the event in a time of 59.22.

Lindsey Wilson hosts Bethlel (Tenn.) University and Brenau (Ga.) University on November 2 at 1 p.m. CT in the Holloway Center Natatorium.
