COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team fell to Rhodes (Tenn.) College 136-66 Saturday afternoon at the Holloway Center Natatorium.
The Blue Raiders fall to 3-4 on the season in duals.
Lindsey Wilson's Laura Stephenson remains undefeated this season as she earned solid A cuts in the 400 yard individual medley (4:46.87) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:22.30).
Kelsey Marshall posted a season-best time of 1:14.85 in the 100 yard breaststroke.
The Blue Raider team of Elena Nikolaeva, Marshall, Stephenson and Paige Lewis won the 400 yard medley relay with a time 4:14.98, nearly five seconds ahead of the closest Rhodes team.
Raeanne Spears placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing in 12:44.44.
Lewis swam a 27.10 to take second in the 50 yard freestyle
Nikolaeva won the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.13.
In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Sarah Wood, Herrington, Spears and Natalie Miller finished in second place with a time of 1:55.65.
Susan Herrington posted a B cut in her time trial for the 200 yard butterfly. Herrington finished with a time of 2:20 to beat her previous best by five seconds and is now a second away from an A cut. She also finished third in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.63.
Next up for the Blue Raiders is the Brenau (Ga.) University Invitational in Gainesville, Ga., the largest meet of the season, Nov. 22-23.
