COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Four Blue Raiders finished with double-digit points as the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team defeated Oakland City (Ind.) University 87-54 Saturday afternoon in Biggers Sports Center.

The Blue Raiders improve to 5-0 on the season with the win.

Chanel Roberts finished with her second double-double of the season scoring 15 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.

Jamie Cummings led all scorers with 20 points going 9-for-14 from the field in the win. Bre Elder finished just shy of her second double-double on the year scoring 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting while pulling down nine rebounds.

Kayla Richardson finished with 13 points in the game while Keosha Wisener led the Blue Raiders with five assists on the day.

Lindsey Wilson and Oakland City opened the game exchanging baskets until the Lady Oaks took a 5-4 lead. Cummings scored the next basket for Lindsey Wilson to trigger an 11-0 run that gave the Blue Raiders a 15-5 lead just under five minutes into the game. Oakland City did not lead again for the rest of the game.

Lindsey Wilson continued to apply pressure and a three-pointer by Tara Arnold just before the half gave the Blue Raiders a 53-30 lead heading into the locker room.

The second half saw the Blue Raiders increase the scoring to lead by as many as 39 points with the score 86-47 with just under two minutes to play.

Lindsey Wilson won the rebounding battle 48-36, pulling down 41 defensive rebounds to help limit second chance opportunities for the Lady Oaks.

Lindsey Wilson shot 57 percent from the field compared to just 26 percent for Oakland City.

The Lady Oaks were led by Brandi Richardson with 14 points in the loss, followed by Lyndi Tedder with 12 and Chelsea Jones with 11.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action as they begin Mid-South Conference play against Shawnee State (Ohio) University on Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. CT in Portsmouth, Ohio.
