COLUMBIA, Ky. – Corey Hall was part of a first-place relay and touched the wall first in the 200-yard butterfly to lead Lindsey Wilson to a second-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Swimming Invitational on Saturday at the Holloway Center Natatroium on the Blue Raiders' campus.
Lindsey Wilson ended the night with 418 team points to claim second place, while Cumberlands (Ky.) won the team trophy with 746 points and Bethel (Tenn.) rounded out the top three with 116.
Hall joined Jonathan Hindman, Luke Royal and Shelby Stevenson in the 200-medley relay to open up the night with a first-place finish after touching in one minute and 41.85 seconds.
Hindman went on to medal in the 200-breaststroke as well, with a time of 2:16.48 to finish second and Stevenson also medaled individually, finishing second in the 1,650-freestyle with a showing of 18:16.29.
Royal earned his first NAIA national "B" cut of the season in the 100-free with a time of 50.19 seconds which was good for fifth place.
Lindsey Wilson won't be back competing in the pool until the NAIA National Championships on Feb. 27 through March 2 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
