OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – Lindsey Wilson's Kaitlin Allan tied a career-low on Tuesday with a round of 71 on day two of the Big Blue Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee State at the Hermitage Golf Course.
Allan's two day total of 153 (82-71) helped the Blue Raiders finish fourth overall in a field that included three NCAA Div. I programs and one NCAA Div. II member.
Lindsey Wilson finished with 654 (335-319) total strokes, while Lee (Tenn.) took the team title with a 635 (321-314), Lipscomb (Tenn.) finished second with a 637 (325-312) and Belmond (Tenn.) rounded out the top three with a 641 (319-322).
Allan's nine-stroke improvement in the final round helped her take second place individually, while Jennifer MacKinnon finished second on the team and 14th overall carding a 163 (79-84).
Kelsey Joslyn improved her score by 13 strokes to finish tied for 16th with a 165 (89-76), Sara Koizumi tallied a 176 (86-90) to tie for 23rd place with her teammate Candace Stacy who fired a 176 with rounds of 88 on both days.
Belmont's Janet Steen edged Allan by a single stroke for the individual title, shooting a 152 (76-76) for the third-place team.
Lindsey Wilson heads to postseason play with a Mid-South Conference Championship up next on April 22-23 at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.
