Swimming competes in Breast Cancer Awareness Dual Meet on Saturday at Cumberlands

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's swimming teams race on Saturday at noon CT against Bethel (Tenn.) and host Cumberlands (Ky.) as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Dual Meet in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

In what will be each Blue Raider team's second road trip this season, the Lindsey Wilson men's team enters with a 2-1 overall dual record while the women's team is 3-1 thus far.

Most recently, the Blue Raiders lost to visiting Birmingham-Southern (Ala.), an NCAA Division III program, on Friday afternoon by a final score of 138-65.

For Lindsey Wilson, Jose Prado de Lima earned a national "B" cut in the men's 100-yard butterfly event as he raced a 54.55. Additionally, he secured a national "B" cut in the 50-yard freestyle for his performance (22.58) in the opening leg of the men's 200-yard freestyle relay.

On the women's side, the Blue Raiders' Courtney Fleeger claimed a national "B" cuts in both the women's 100-yard butterfly event (1:02.90) as well as the women's 500-yard freestyle race (5:32.78).
