BARDSTOWN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished third out of 10 teams with a total score of 674 (350-324) at the Fall Mid-South Conference Tournament at the Bardstown Country Club at Maywood on Tuesday.
Cristina Jimenez led the Blue Raiders scoring a 12-over par 156 (83-73) and placing in a tie for second. Jimenez finished one stroke behind tournament winner Rachel Pingleton of Cumberlands (Ky.) who shot an 11-over par 155 (78-77).
Courtney Swindle placed 18th scoring a 27-over par 171 (91-80).
Kayla Cordeiro (91-84) and Shayna Cockrill (86-89) each placed in a tie for 23rd carding a 31-over par 175.
Amy Brown completed the five person squad for Lindsey Wilson carding a 33-over par 177 (90-87) placing in a tie for 26th.
Megan Kriz participated as an individual finishing tied for 33rd with a 36-over par 180 (97-83).
Cumberlands (Ky.) won the tournament with a team score of 627 (318-309), while Cumberland (Tenn.) carded a total score of 664 (333-331) to finish second.
Pikeville (Ky.) shot a two round total of 684 (351-333) finishing fourth and Campbellsville (Ky.) carded a total score of 686 (345-341) placing fifth.
The Blue Raiders return to the links when they travel to Pooler, Georgia, to compete in the NAIA Preview Tournament on Oct. 27 and 28.
