Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team ran its winning streak to four straight with an 80-71 road win today over Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) at Jill Rendel Court.
Three Blue Raiders posted double figures led by Bre Elder's season-high 19 points. She connected on seven of her nine shots, including 2-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc.
Kayla Richardson added 15 points and Billie Hearn chipped in 11 points off the Lindsey Wilson bench as the Blue Raider reserves outscored their counterparts 27-0 in the game.
No. 24-ranked Lindsey Wilson (9-2) connected on 51.6 percent (32-of-62) from the field -- the third straight game the Blue Raiders have made more than half of their shots and fifth time overall this season.
While the offense was clicking, the Lindsey Wilson defense also had a solid game.
Cincinnati Christian (6-5) was limited to 37.3 percent (19-of-51) from the field, including just two for 11 from deep. The Eagles remained in the game thanks to outstanding free throw shooting. Cincinnati Christian made 31 of its 36 freebies during the game.
Cincinnati Christian's Amanda Baute scored a game-high 28 points in the loss.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Monday, Dec. 15, as the Blue Raiders host Brescia (Ky.) at Biggers Sports Center.
