OWENSBORO, Ky. -- No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team dropped just nine total games today in a 9-0 win over host Brescia (Ky.) at the Executive Racquet Club.

The Blue Raiders (2-0) claimed all three doubles points to open the match, including a pair without dropping a game.

Lindsey Wilson won the second and third-seeded doubles matches 8-0 -- Raul Mendez and Ignacio Huertas defeated Lucas Ang and Robie Burch and Edberg Espinoza and Pablo Vilches beat Jonathon Kamuf and Seth Ferguson.

Francisco Charters and Fabricio Morales earned the doubles sweep with an 8-2 win over Fernando Garcia and Gustavo Carvalho in the top-seeded match.

Lindsey Wilson continued its stellar play in the singles matches.

Mendez claimed the fourth Blue Raider point of the day with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Kamuf at the third-seeded singles match.

Lindsey Wilson earned the decisive fifth point from Huertas as he beat Burch 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 5 match.

Espinoza, Morales, Charters and Vliches finished off straight-set wins to secure the 9-0 win.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 21, as the Blue Raiders travel to NCAA Division I Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.
