LONDON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished in second place at the two-day University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Course on Tuesday.
Lindsey Wilson finished with a score of 665 (333-332) after shooting a 40-over par 332 in the final round. Cumberlands finished in first place with a final score of 643 (326-317) while Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished third with a score of 676 (332-344).
Candace Stacy paced the team with a second place finish after shooting a 13-over par 159 in her two rounds. Stacy shot 1-under par in her final five holes including a birdie on the par 4 14th today. Cassidy Scantland of Campbellsville finished first in the individual tournament after shooting another 5-over par 78 in her final round.
Kaitlin Allan (84-83) shot a 10-over par 83 in her final round to finish in 11th place while Courtney Swindle (80-91) slipped to 12th place following her 18-over par 91 on Tuesday.
Katie Bowling (89-82) finished in a tie for 12th place with Swindle after her final round 9-over par 82. Amy Brown rounds out the Blue Raiders in 25th place with a final score of 36-over par 182.
Kayla Cordeiro - playing as an individual competitor - finished in a tie for 12th place after shooting 25-over par 171.
Lindsey Wilson is back on the course Monday, March 31 as they host the Blue Raider Classic at The Pines of Lindsey Wilson.
