ST. CATHARINE, Ky. -- The No. 7 Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team wrapped up Mid-South Conference play with a 5-0 win over St. Catharine (Ky.) College on Monday.

Lindsey Wilson (13-2, 6-1 MSC) is now 48-7 in singles and doubles matches in the MSC this season including a doubles sweep against St. Catharine.

Raul Mendez and Ignacio Huertas defeated Marshall Berry and Tyler Glover 8-0 to give the Blue Raiders an early 1-0 lead. Mendez and Huertas are now 6-1 in MSC action and 4-0 when playing in the No. 3 doubles spot.

The eighth-ranked team of Fabricio Morales and Francisco Charters won 8-0 over Andre Jacomini and Ivan Kerkoc-Portillo at No. 1 doubles. Morales and Charters are now 11-4 this season and 5-3 in MSC play.

Edberg Espinoza and Pablo Vilches won 8-2 over Felipe Barrientos and Sergio Mendoza at No. 2 doubles to give Lindsey Wilson a commanding 3-0 lead.

In singles action, Huertas defeated Berry 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 singles position. Hueras improves his MSC record to 13-2 this season.

Vilches gave the Blue Raiders a 5-0 win over St. Catharine after defeating Glover 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.

Lindsey Wilson is back on the court Thursday, April 24 as the MSC Men's Tennis Championships begin in Georgetown, Ky.
