CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College men's swimming dominated host Campbellsville (Ky.) and Bethel (Tenn.) today to finish the regular season at the Powell Athletic Center.
The Blue Raiders posted a 139-31 win over Campbellsville while beating Bethel 140-16. Lindsey Wilson won all 11 events, including both relays, to close out the dual season with a 7-5 record.
Jose Prado de Lima and Iker Larzabal each won two events while five other Blue Raiders claimed individual wins.
Prado de Lima opened the individual events with a win in the 1,500-meter freestyle. His time of 18 minutes and 21.50 seconds was good enough for 54-second win. Prado de Lima edged teammate Gage Setzer by .20 seconds in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.09 to claim his second win of the day.
Larzabal picked up wins in 200 individual medley and 100 free. Larzabal's 2:26.34 in the 200 IM was good enough for an eight-second win. He posted the only sub-minute 100 free with a time of 56.91 for a four-second win.
Setzer (200 free), Zachary Patzer (50 free), Josh Lykins (100 butterfly), Ryan Leamy (400 free) and Jonas Muller (100 breaststroke) all added wins for Lindsey Wilson on Saturday.
The Blue Raiders bookended their sweep with wins in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Feb. 6-7 at the Mid-South Conference Championships in Williamsburg, Ky.
