OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team posted a ninth-place finish on Saturday at the Fast Cats Classic event hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College.
The Blue Raiders accumulated 203 total team points in the field of 13.
A day after finishing 12th individually at the NAIA Preview Event race on Friday in Charlotte, N.C., John-Paul Williamson returned to lead the Blue Raider men's squad as he finished in 27th place with a time of 28:00.3.
Austin Childress was the next Blue Raider across the line at 28:18.3 to take 36th place. Clay Priddy and Zack Carr finished in 40th and 42nd place, respectively, posting times of 28:30.4 and 28:35.2.
Marcus Terrell was the final Lindsey Wilson team member to score as he finished in 60th place out of the 129 runners with a time of 29:18.0.
Maryville (Mo.) took home the team victory with a total score of 48 points, beating out second-place Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) by 21 points. Maryville's Kyle Deeken was the top overall finisher with a time of 25:29.4.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Oct. 24 when they head to the Asbury (Ky.) Invitational.
