WALEKSA, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished with a two-day total 648 (319-329) to take second place at the Reinhardt (Ga.) Invitational on Tuesday at the Callahan Golf Links.
The Blue Raiders finished 30 strokes behind tournament winner Tennessee Wesleyan at the par-72, 5,801-yard course.
Courtney Vincent provided the top Blue Raider finish with an 8-over par for the tournament, tying for second place. Vincent posted a 3-over par 75 on the final day, the lowest round of the day and tied for the lowest round of the two-day invitational. She finished just one stroke behind the tournament winner.
Cristina Jimenez also finished in the top five in fifth place with a 16-over 160 (77-83) for the tournament.
Shayna Cockrill tied for 11th with a 166 (82-84) and Kenna Richardson finished four strokes behind her with a 170 (83-87).
Kayla Cordeiro, competing in her first round on Tuesday, shot a 15-over 87.
Megan Kriz, playing as individual, finished in 15th place with a 172 (85-87).
Tennessee Wesleyan's Kinsley Vincent led wire-to-wire with a 151 (75-76) to take home top medalist honors.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Thursday for the Fall Mid-South Conference Tournament hosted by Shawnee State (Ohio).
