CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's swim team won a pair of dual victories on Saturday over Campbellsville (Ky.) and Union (Ky.) at the Powell Athletic Center Pool.
The Blue Raiders (4-1) defeated Union 154-90 and took down the host Tigers 140-113 to earn their fourth-consecutive dual victory this year.
Emily Wood, Jessica Macdonald and Ines Khiyara combined for eight individual event wins on the day.
Wood won the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 10 minutes and 6.41 seconds for the first Blue Raider victory of the day. She later went on to win the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:52.55 and was part of the runner-up 200-meter relay team.
Macdonald earned her three individual wins in the 200-meter freestyle, 100-meter freestyle and the 200-meter individual medley. Khiyara also collected three individual victories, doing so in the 100-meter breaststroke, 50-meter freestyle and 200-meter breaststroke. In both the breaststroke events, she narrowly edged out teammate Caitlin Freeny, who claimed second place in each event.
Khiyara and Macdonald made it a perfect 4-for-4 day in victories after teaming up with Bailey Seitz and Wood to win the 200-meter freestyle relay.
Lindsey Wilson is back in action for the two-day Brenau (Ga.) Invitational set to begin on Nov. 18.
