Wilmore, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team garners a victory on the road against Asbury (Ky.) on Friday evening.
LWC men's swimming team (1-1) defeated Asbury 131-56. The men had 11 first place finishes in the victory over the Eagles.
In the 200 medley (1:38.69) and the 200 freestyle (1:35.28) relays, the men took first place. Aleksander Olejnik, Clemens Paetzold and Pedro Terra each had two first place finishes in their individual events.
Michael Peck earned his first first-place finish of the year in the 100 butterfly with a time of 59.45. Peck also added a second place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:06.31. Ron Wolfart also chipped in with his first place finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.23.
The men and women's swimming teams combined for a total of 144 points on Friday night.
The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team will be back in action against Life (Ga.) on October 27, in Marietta, Ga.
