COLUMBIA Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team fell to Cumberlands (Ky.) 169-89 on Saturday afternoon at Holloway Center Natatorium.
The men's swimming team racked up a total of six first place finishes. The men also gathered three A-cut standards and an additional four B-cuts.
Olek Olejnik earned for two first place finishes in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle. He received a B-cut standard in his 100 freestyle with a time of 48.74.
Clemens Paetzold earned an A-cut standard in a first place finish in the 100 backstroke. He also received two additional B-cuts in a first place finish in the 200 backstroke and a second place finish in the 200 individual medley.
Pedro Terra got a first place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:08.39. Terra also received a B-cut standard in a second place finish in the 500 freestyle.
The relay team of Michael Peck, Manuel Griego, Pedro Terra and Jordan Schaffer earned an A-cut standard in the 200 medley with a time of 1:45.30. The relay of Bryce Rice, Ronald Wolfart, Clemens Paetzold and Olek Olejnik earned an A-cut standard in the 200 freestyle relay with a first place finish.
The men and women's swim team combined for a total of 168 points in this matchup against Cumberlands.
The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team will be back in the pool against Asbury (Ky.) on October 12, at Asbury Natatorium in Wilmore, Ky.
