RICHMOND, Ind. – The No. 13-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team fell in their regular season opener and their first game at the Red Wolf Classic 74-35 to Indiana Wesleyan.

Reagan Turner led the Blue Raiders (0-1) offensive effort after scoring a game-high 16 points. The sophomore guard made 10-of-14 shots from the foul line and added three steals in the game. Maleigha Oldham recorded seven points as Gerda Paulauskaite added a team-high six rebounds and two blocks.

The Blue Raiders shot 16 percent from the floor after connecting on just 10 of their 61 shots. Indiana Wesleyan shot 49 percent for the game and out rebounded the Blue Raiders 49-34 as Lindsey Wilson managed eight steals in the game.

Indiana Wesleyan had four players score double-digit points as Anne Secrest led the way with 14. Nicole Ignasiak had a game-high 11 rebounds.

LWC women's basketball is back in action tomorrow afternoon when they take on Indiana East in their final game of the Red Wolf Classic at 1 p.m. CT.
