Women's golf finishes fourth at Roadrunner Invitational

COHUTTA, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team held on to their position in fourth place through all three rounds at the Roadrunner Invitational. The Blue Raiders shot a 956 (318-319-319) across the three days of play at Nob North Golf Course, a par-72, 5,851-yard design.

Dalton State (Ga.) captured first place of the eight-team field after recording a 917 (305-303-309) as Mid-South Conference competitor Cumberlands (Ky.) finished in second place with a 920 (304-304-312). South Carolina Beaufort took third at 938 (310-312-316) strokes.

Dacie Bolton – 233 (78-80-75) -- finished in a tie for 10th place after she scored her lowest round of the tournament during the final round with a three-over-par 75. The senior fired three birdies on her front nine to make the turn a 1-under par but a string of four bogeys on the back nine pushed her to three over. The result marks the 15th time Bolton has finished inside the top-10 in her career.

Tara Rodenhurst matched her best round of the tournament during the final round as she scored a 79 to finish the events with 238 strokes. The mark placed her in a tie for 20th after the final round.

Claire McLaughlin finished the tournament with a 241 (78-80-83) to sit alone in 27th place.

Zofia Wojcik tied for 35th with a 246 (83-79-84) as Megan Mann finishes the invitational in 38th with her 254 (89-83-82).

Katie Biddlecombe competed as an individual at the event and turned in a 245 (87-77-81) to sit in 34th place.

Lindsey Wilson women's golf returns to action early next spring to conclude the 2019-20 season.
