HANOVER, Ind. -- The No. 9 Lindsey Wilson Men's swimming team defeated Hanover (Ind.) on Saturday afternoon. LWC won 12 of 14 events while recording three A standard times.
The squad of William Thilwind, Bryce Rice, Reece Kincaid, and Tyler King finished first in the 200-yard medley relay with an A-cut time of 1:39.43.
Reece Kincaid notched the only individual A standard time of the day in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.97. Kincaid also finished first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 yard IM with times of 2:02.81 and 55.08, respectively.
The grouping of Ron Wolfart, Jordan Schaeffer, Ricky Dungan, and James de Goede won the 200-yard freestyle relay with an A standard time of 1:31.39.
De Goede won the 200-yard freestyle with the time of 1:50.89 and the 100-yard freestyle swimming a 49.55. Rice placed first in the 50 and 100-yard breaststroke events, finishing with the times of 28.22 and 1:02.03. Thilwind also collected two individual first-place finishes in the 50-yard backstroke (25.58) and 100-yard backstroke (54.97).
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Nov. 22-23 when they compete at the Brenau Invitational in Gainsville, Georgia.
