BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished in fifth place of eight teams at the Mid-South Conference championships this afternoon.
The Blue Raiders scored 106 points, falling one point behind the fourth-place team Cumberland (Tenn.). Shawnee State (Ohio) won the meet tallying 16 points.
Jim Headrick had the top finish for the Blue Raiders with a time of 26 minutes and 46.0 seconds, securing 14th place in the 79 competitor event, earning second team all-conference honors.
Levi Owens recorded a time of 27:20.7 to secure a 22nd place finish, while Jonathon Long trailed behind in 24th place with a time of 27:27.3. Victor Clark was the fourth Blue Raider to cross the finish line at a time of 27:51.5 and a 30th place finish.
Jordan Tucker recorded a time of 28:19.4, while Frederico Diaz notched a finishing time of 28:46.3. Austin Mattingly finished the race with a time of 28:57.5, Caleb Watson crossed the finish line in at 29:19.5, Mason Stogsdill finished with a final time of 29:37.5, and Noah Brown ended the race at 29:46.8
The NAIA national championships for men's cross country will take place on November 23rd in Vancouver, Washington.
