The Blue Raiders recorded seven first-place finishes to improve to 7-2 this season in duals, including winning six straight. Lindsey Wilson also picked up seven national cuts in the final event before the holiday break.
Jessica Macdonald picked up three individual wins and three national A cuts while Narjiss Bourbouh won twice and Carlene Taylor won once with each picking up national cuts. Both Lindsey Wilson relay teams also earned national cuts.
Macdonald captured the 100-yard freestyle (54.73 seconds), the 200 freestyle (2:01.23) and the 200 individual medley (2:15.82).
Bourbouh won the 200 butterfly in 2:19.84 to earn a national cut while also picking up a win in the 100 butterfly (1:01.79). Taylor won the 50 freestyle in 25.94 seconds and earned a national cut with a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:02.41).
Macdonald, Bourbouh, Sarah Hahn, and Natalie Lohman teamed up to win the 200 medley relay in 1:56.81. The time was good enough for a national cut. Bourbouh, Taylor, Annissa Koekemoer, and Jaye Farthing finished runner-up in the 200 freestyle in 1:46.52 -- the final Blue Raider national cut.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at Noon CT on Saturday, Jan. 18, in the home finale against Campbellsville (Ky.) and Thomas More (Ky.) at the Holloway Natatorium.
