LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team fell to No. 1-ranked Georgia Gwinnett 9-0 tonight at the GGC Tennis Facility.

The Blue Raiders (0-2) dropped all six singles matches and all three doubles matches on the day.

Camilo Erazo and Santiago Diaz fell 8-3 to Valentino Caratini and Ayed Zatar (No. 1-ranked doubles) as Nicolas Garcia Torrealba and Steven Espinoza lost 8-3 to Herrera Duran and Daniel Czepielewski. Javier Raya and Xavier Vicent Navarro would then fall to Federico Bonacia and Gregor Hutterer 8-2 (No. 20 doubles).

Raya would then fall in the No. 2 singles match to the No. 1-singles player Herrera Duran 6-1 and 6-0. The Blue Raiders would lose the fifth point of the match when Vincent was defeated by No. 11 Rafael Coutinho 6-1, 6-1. This win was enough for the Grizzlies to claim the match.

Lindsey Wilson is back on the court this Thursday when they travel to Pulaski, Tennessee to take on the Martin Methodist at 1 p.m. CT.
