Kingsport, Tenn.- The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team finishes in fourth-place at the Mid-South Conference Swimming Championships in Kingsport, Tennessee.
The Blue Raiders tallied 359.5 points over the three-day competition to earn a fourth-place finish and garner five more A-cut standards on the final night. Cumberlands (Ky.) earned 780 points to capture the men's championship.
Clemens Paetzold notched a second-place finish, earning second-team all-conference honors and an A-cut standard in the 200 backstroke in 1:53.21.
Aleksander Olejnik captured a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle earning an A-cut standard and second-team all-conference honor in 46.64 seconds.
Pedro Terra earned a fourth-place finish and an A-cut standard in the 1,650 freestyle in 16:34.31. Ron Wolfart then earned an A-cut standard in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:11.88.
Terra, Wolfart, Paetzold and Olejnik notched a second-place victory earning second-team all-conference honors and an A-cut standard in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:09.91.
The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team is back in action on February 27 through March 2 at the NAIA National Swimming Championships in Columbus, Georgia.
