COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson men's tennis swept visiting Shawnee State (Ohio) today on Senior Day at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The 13th-ranked Blue Raiders (7-5, 5-0 in the Mid-South Conference) earn a share of the MSC regular season title with today's win. Lindsey Wilson faces Cumberland (Tenn.) this weekend for a chance to win the outright title.

Senior Javier Raya won both his singles and doubles matches in this final home match of his career. He defeated Carter Nolte 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth-seeded singles match and paired with Camilo Erazo to bear Austin Hanshaw and Jacob Freeland 8-1 in the top-seeded doubles match.

Raya's win was one of six straight-sets wins for the Blue Raiders -- who dropped just one game during singles play.

Lindsey Wilson dropped just two games during doubles play to close the home schedule 3-0 this season and winners of 17 straight at Baughman.

The Blue Raiders return to action at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 13, at No. 16-ranked Cumberland in Lebanon, Tennessee.
