PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team posted a 322 team score to finish competition at the MSC Spring Tournament at the Elks Country Club in fourth place.
The event was originally scheduled to take place over Saturday and Sunday as they were scheduled to play 36 holes but projected inclement weather in the area forced the change.
Cumberland (Tenn.) took home first place after carding a 311 as Cumberlands (Ky.) finished in second with a 315 stroke total. Pikeville (Ky.) took third with 320 total strokes.
Bo Young Park carded the Blue Raiders low round with a 79. Dacie Bolton and Tara Rodenhurst both finished one stroke behind Park with 80 strokes over the 18-hole tournament.
Courtney Vincent was the only other Blue Raider in action as she managed an 83 stroke round.
Cumberland's Ana Laura Pages took home first place as she shot a 72 to finish three strokes ahead of Boo Newsome who finished alone in second with a 75.
With the fall and spring tournaments factored in, Cumberland and Cumberlands have won a share of the regular season title. The Blue Raiders finished in third place of the regular season standings.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 29 – May 1 when they travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky to compete at the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
