BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson archery opened up its 2019-20 season today at the 3-D Regional Championships hosted by Union (Ky.) at Indian Springs Golf Course.

The Blue Raiders picked up a first, three second-place finishes and a third in today's competition.

In addition to the individual efforts, a number of Blue Raiders qualified for the team and mixed doubles competition on Saturday at the Mid-South Conference 3-D Championship held at Cumberlands (Ky.) in Williamsburg.

T. Sanchez picked up his first collegiate win, dominating the men's Olympic recurve shoot.

Casie Metcalf, Christa Nelson, and Savy Scott all finished runner-up in their respective discipline on Friday. Metcalf posted a second in the women's Olympic recurve while Nelson grabbed runner-up honors in the women's barebow. Scott finished Lindsey Wilson's second-place finishes in the women's bowhunter.

MaKenzie Hayes finished just behind Scott, to take home third in the women's bowhunter.

Saturday's competition begins at 8 a.m. CT at the University of the Cumberlands All-Purpose Field. The individual shoot down for each discipline will be streamed live beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/cumberlands/.
