RIO GRANDE, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team won the Patty Forgey Invitational this afternoon.

The Blue Raiders scored just 24 points to take the top spot out of the seven teams participating. Asbury (Ky.) placed second with 70 points.

Levi Owens finished with a time of 27 minutes and 31.73 seconds, securing first-place individually over 72 other runners.

Jim Headrick placed second with a time of 28:04.47. Jordan Tucker earned himself a fifth-place finish with a time of 28:18.85. Jonathon Long recorded a time of 28:30.28 seconds, garnering a sixth-place finish.

Noah Brown crossed the line in 29:40.06 to finish in 11th. Federico Diaz-Morales finished 17th with a time of 30:08.38.

Joshua Murdock finished in 31:10.42. Mason Stogsdill recorded a time of 31:38.47. Austin Mattingly crossed the line in 32:50.86. Harley Waters finished in 33:13.89 and Alex Bryant ran a 38:28.86.

The Blue Raiders return to action Oct. 11 at the Jenna Strong Invitational in Wilmington, Ohio.
