COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's swim team defeated Campbellsville (Ky.) 149-79 and Thomas More (Ky.) 156-36 on Saturday afternoon at the Holloway Natatorium.
The Blue Raiders finished with 11 first-place finishes and a host of national standards.
Lindsey Wilson took first place in the 400-yard medley relay. Sarah Hahn, Jaye Farthing, Nissrine Bourbouh and Natalie Lohman touched the wall in 4:31.69 for a national A standard. Annissa Koekemoer, Narjiss Bourbouh, Carlene Taylor and Jessica Macdonald added a first place, A cut time of 1:44.69 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Macdonald finished the day with three first-place finishes and two national A cut standards. She took first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.18 and the 100-yard freestyle touching the wall in 55.22 seconds. Both times good for A standards. Her final first-place finish came in the 200-yard IM with a B cut time of 2:17.72.
Narjiss Bourbouh clocked a B standard time of 2:21.30 in the 200-yard butterfly. She added he second first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a B cut time of 1:02.25.
The Blue Raiders swept the podium in the 50-yard freestyle as Koekemoer touched the wall in 26.46 followed by Lohman in 27.13 and Farthing in 27.76 seconds.
Hahn took first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.45 and Taylor finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:14.78. Hahn added her second first-place finish of the day in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:22.03.
Lindsey Wilson returns to the pool on Feb. 6-8 when they compete at the Mid-South Conference Championship at the Kingsport Aquatic Center.
