WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson archery finished runner-up at the 2020 Mid-South Conference 3D Championship today at UC All-Purpose Field
Cumberlands (Ky.) repeated as 3D champions with 181 points. Lindsey Wilson ended with 175 points followed by Union (Ky.) with 75 points.
The Blue Raiders produced the most gold medals in the one-day event with nine. Lindsey Wilson added three silvers, six bronze, and five fourth-place finishes to produce the team score.
Teams were awarded 10 points for a gold, eight points for a silver, six points for a bronze, and five points for a fourth-place finish.
The Blue Raiders dominated the recurve and barebow disciplines.
Britney McCarthy (women's barebow), T Sanchez (men's recurve), and Savannah Gould (women's recurve) all won individual gold medals. Cameron Curran (men's barebow), Anna Krampe (women's bowhunter), and Gabe Crenshaw (men's recurve) each captured an individual silver medal.
In the team shoots, the Blue Raiders won six team gold medals, winning in men's barebow, men's bowhunter, mixed barebow, mixed compound, women's recurve, and mixed recurve.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 15-17 at the USA Archery 3D National Championships in Foley, Alabama.
