Women's golf finishes in sixth place at Music City Invitational

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Music City Invitational hosted by Cumberland (Tenn.) at Twelve Stones Golf Club. The Blue Raiders combined to shoot 675 (333-342) at the par-72, 6,025-yard design.

Katie Biddlecombe provided the Blue Raiders best finish at the tournament in 13th place with a 166 (86-80) two-round total. She jumped 13 spots between her two rounds after sitting in 26th place following the first round of competition yesterday.

Claire McLaughlin tied for 16th place with a 168 (80-88) two-round total. Megan Mann finished one stroke behind McLaughlin with a 169 (81-88) to tie for 19th place.

Malene Clausen produced a two-round total of 172 (86-86) as Zofia Wojcik took home a tie for 29th with a 175 (86-89).

Lauren Holeman competed as an individual where she turned in a 186 (94-92).

Milligan (Tenn.) won the event with a 643 (320-323) two-round total as Nathalie Nutu of Cumberland won the individual crown by six strokes with a 150 (73-77).

The Blue Raiders wrap up play in the Music City Invite tomorrow morning as they compete in their second round of action.
