COLUMBIA, Ky. - Reagan Turner continues to shine in her senior season for the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team, as she dropped 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field in an 85-71 victory over Midway (Ky.) on Saturday afternoon at Biggers Sports Center.

The 26-point outburst marks the third straight time Turner has recorded 25 or more points in a game this season. She has also made exactly nine field goals and shot over 50 percent from the field in each game as well. Turner added six rebounds, four of which were offensive, in the win for LWC.

Alongside Turner, three other Blue Raiders tallied double-figures in the scoring column. Maleigha Oldham chipped in 14 points off the bench on 5-of-13 shooting from the field. Rose Mary Jackson and Hailey Ison contributed 10 points apiece, with Ison notching four rebounds and three steals, while Jackson grabbed seven boards. Bree Glover had another strong game on the glass, pulling home a game-high 11 rebounds while corralling eight points. Sydnie Hall led Lindsey Wilson dishing out five assists while scoring seven points.

Jalyn Jackson was a star on offense for Midway today at Biggers Sports Center, as the freshman produced 26 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field while sinking 11 free throws. Jill Enix chalked up 16 points on an impressive 7-of-9 shooting day from the field to round out the double-digit scoring for the Eagles.

The Blue Raiders shot 45.6 percent from the field (31-of-68), while holding Midway to just 38.1 percent shooting (24-of-63). LWC controlled the glass once again tonight, out-rebounding MU 50-to-31.

The first quarter of action saw both teams throwing jabs back and forth, with the score tied up at 11 apiece with under three minutes remaining. However, Lindsey Wilson prevailed at the end of the quarter by going on a 6-0 run to hold a 17-11 advantage in the game.

Despite a slight advantage, the Blue Raiders could not fully pull away from the Eagles in the second quarter. LWC stretched its lead out to as much as 13, but had it dropped to as low as five. Still, it was Lindsey Wilson who entered the halftime locker room up 41-29.

The halftime lead proved to propel the Blue Raiders to victory. Midway was only able to trim its deficit down to single-digits early in the third quarter, allowing Lindsey Wilson to ride a double-digit edge most of the second half. LWC was able to jump up ahead by as much as 21 in the eventual 85-71 victory.

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team is set to begin Mid-South Conference play when it returns to the floor next. The team will hit the road to face off against (RV) Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 19.
