PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team defeated Shawnee State (Ohio) 192-51 on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Raiders claimed first place 13 of 14 races to pick up the win.
Will Thilwind, Tyler Buffel, Chase Hickman and Reece Kincaid won the 100-meter medley relay with a time of 1:48.86 as Siaka Weidenbaum, Malte Ahrens, Tyler King and James de Goede took first in the 200 free relay with a mark of 1:41.26.
Fabio Martin clocked a first-place time of 8:57.42 in the 800 free as Thilwind managed first in the 100 back at 59.83. Thilwind added his second first in the 200 back with a time of 2:13.18. Buffel finished in first of the 100 breast with a mark of 1:08.45 while Weidenbaum produced the best time in the 200 fly, touching the wall in 2:14.38.
King raced his way to first in the 100 free with a mark of 55.83 seconds while Martin added another first place finish in the 400 free with a time of 4:16.75. Hickman finished in first place during the 100 fly at 59.37 seconds as Kincaid touched the wall in first during the 200 IM with a mark of 2:18.81.
