NOBELSVILLE, Ind. – The No. 20-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits in first place at the IWU Fall Invitational after the first two rounds of play. The Blue Raiders carded a 614 (301-313) during the first day of competition.
The event is being held at the Purgatory Golf Club, a par-72, 5965-yard design. The field of competition includes seven different universities and colleges.
Katie Biddlecombe and Malene Clausen are both tied for second place with a total score of 148 (73-75, 76-72). Both Biddlecombe and Clausen have recorded two birdies apiece.
Megan Mann and Hannah Sumner are also tied at 10th place with a total score of 157. Paige Gray is tied at 15th with a score of 160. Zofia Wojcik recorded a score of 162 as she is in a three-way tie for 17th. Lauren Holeman checks in at 27th, holding a score of 171.
Madison Panter of Truett McConnell (Ga.) leads the event after finishing the two-round day with a total score of 147. She is currently two-under-par, being the only player 42 to be under-par.
The Blue Raiders conclude the IWU Fall Invitational tomorrow morning.
