Box Score PULASKI, Tenn. -- No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis continued its winning ways today picking up a 6-1 Mid-South Conference road win at Martin Methodist (Tenn.).
The Blue Raiders (5-1, 2-0 in the Mid-South Conference) claimed the doubles point with three wins and backed up the stellar play winning five of six singles matches for a fourth-straight win.
Lindsey Wilson dropped just four games in three matches in doubles action to take the 1-0 team lead.
Camilo Erazo and Aleksa Ciric improved to 4-0 on the season with a 6-0 win over Sergio Delgadillo and Shizuya Kubo in the top-seeded match.
Tiago Almeida and Anatoliy Voloshyn followed with a 6-2 win in the third-seeded match to secure the doubles point for the Blue Raiders. Almeida and Voloshyn are also unbeaten this season as a tandem, winning all three of their matches this season.
Jan Silhavy and Nicolas Torrealba -- playing for the first time this season a doubles team -- made doubles a clean sweep for the Blue Raiders with a 6-2 win in the second-seeded match.
Erazo, Ciric, and Silhavy each won their matches in straight sets to give Lindsey Wilson the 4-0 lead and the team win.
Erazo started the streak with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the top-seeded match over Eduardo Costa for the 2-0 lead. Ciric matched his teammate's effort with a 6-2, 6-3 Joyce Kamdem in the second-seeded singles match to put Lindsey Wilson on the brink of the win.
Silhavy claimed the decisive point in the third-seeded match dropping just two games in a win over Manuel Rodilla.
Voloshyn and Steven Espinoza also claimed wins during the 6-1 win.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, March 19, as the Blue Raiders host Bethel (Tenn.) at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
