Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 6 Lindsey Wilson men's tennis (2-1, 0-0 Mid-South Conference) team got back to winning ways after sweeping No. 23 Marian (Ind.) 7-0 in Henry Baughman Tennis Complex this afternoon.
The Blue Raiders grabbed the doubles point and won all six singles matches to claim the win.
#27 Camilo Erazo and Aleksa Ciric got things underway winning the opening doubles match 6-2 over Diogo Jesus and Camilo Mesa. Marian grabbed their only win of the day when Armando Lopez and Greg Fulling defeated Tiago Almeida and Nicolas Torrealba 6-3 in the second-seeded doubles match. Jan Silhavy and Anatoliy Voloshyn later secured the doubles point for the Blue Raiders with a 7-6 (7-4) win over Hunter Sylvester and Jared Thomas.
The Blue Raiders continued their dominance into the singles matches with Aleksa Ciric defeating Diogo Jesus 6-0, 6-3, and giving Lindsey Wilson the 2-0 lead.
#27 Camilo Erazo grabbed the third point of the afternoon after defeating Camilo Mesa 6-3, 6-3 and Tiago Almeida made up for his loss in the doubles match with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Hunter Sylvester.
Jan Silhavy won his match 6-1, 6-1 over Mark Griffin. Steven Espinoza defeated Armando Lopez 7-5, 6-4 and Nicolas Torrealba won his match 8-2 over Jared Thomas
