LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Michael Schonter produced a 19th place finish, the highest by a Blue Raider, to help push Lindsey Wilson to an eighth-place finish at the Louisville Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Lindsey Wilson competed against 45 other programs at the event and finished the 8k race with an average time of 26 minutes and 38.00 seconds.

Schonter paced all Blue Raiders as he crossed the finish line in 25:58.0. He was 59 seconds off the first-place pace set by Conner Uppleger of Lawrence Tech.

Justin Stearns finished in 35th place with a time of 26:17.8 as Nolan Foushee managed a 72nd place finish with his mark of 26:51.0. Victor Clark finished in 83rd (27:03.2), Nicholas Cummins took 86th (27:04.2), Jordan Tucker finished in 167th (27:51.0).

Logan Bullock finished in 174th at 27:55.3, Marcus Abel took 234th at 28:42.2, Kevin Cuin finished in 299th at 29:37.4 as Zach Jewell rounded things out in 320th with his time of 30:11.9.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Friday, Oct. 7, when they compete at the Brescia Invitational in Owensboro, Ky.
