SILVIS, Ill. – At the conclusion of the opening round of competition, the Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits in 15th place at the TPC Deere Run Invitational.

The Blue Raiders finished their first day in Illinois with a team total of 352 (plus-64) across the initial 18 holes of play at the Deere Run Golf Course, a par-72, 6,092-yard layout. Fellow Mid-South program the University of the Cumberlands actively stands atop the field of 20 with a first-round effort of plus-36 (324).

Senior Katie Biddlecombe finds herself tied for 14th behind a team-high 82 (plus-10). She is currently positioned six strokes back of tournament leader Olivia Lange of William Penn University (Iowa).

Fellow seniors Megan Mann (88, plus-16) and Zofia Wojcik (89, plus-17) are tied for 43rd and 53rd, respectively, while junior Lauren Holeman (93, plus-21) and senior Claire McLaughlin (94, plus-22) round out the Lindsey Wilson line-up after day one tied for 73rd and 77th, individually.

Due to cold temperatures, the event was moved from a three-round event to a one-round event. The final two rounds of play scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled.
