PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team fell to Pikeville (Ky.) this evening, 70-62.

In total four Blue Raiders finished scoring in double figures. Bree Glover had a double-double with 12 rebounds and 11 points on the night while Hailey Ison led the way for Lindsey Wilson with 17 points. Amelia Hodges scored 11 points in the game and Sydnie Hall added 10 points to the scoresheet.

Lindsey Wilson (13-11, 8-8 MSC) had a rough shooting night, finishing the game shooting 36.2 percent from the floor while going 3-of-22 from deep at 13.6 percent.

The game was close in the first half with both teams trading buckets on either end of the court. Lindsey Wilson tied the game on multiple occasions throughout and held a lead early in the second quarter, but the Bears ended the second quarter on a 13-6 run to be up by seven at halftime.

The Blue Raiders never regained the lead in the second half and were down by as many as 13 in the fourth quarter, as Pikeville held on to the 70-62 victory.

Lindsey Wilson remains on the road as they travel to Williamsburg (Ky.) to face (RV) Cumberlands Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. CT.
