Ciric -- ranked 33rd in the NAIA -- needed one additional game to dismiss 35th-ranked Martin Barbier 6-2, 6-2 in the top-seeded match for the 3-0 lead. Ciric improves to 8-0 on the season with the win, including winning for the first time as the No. 1 seed.

Torrealba continued the straight-set theme for the Blue Raiders with a 6-3, 6-2 victory on court four over Luis Montull. The win gave the Blue Raiders the necessary four points to claim the team win.

With the win in hand, Tiago Almeida provided an upset to give Lindsey Wilson its fifth point of the day. He knocked off 39th-ranked Christian Nodado 6-3, 6-1 in the fifth-seeded match.

Cumberlands (11-4, 2-1 MSC) captured the final two matches.

Martin Muller won a third-set tiebreaker on court three to outlast Joppe van Malderen 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (4). The final point of the day came when Anatoliy Voloshyn was forced to retire due to an injury in the sixth-seeded match.

Lindsey Wilson grabbed the doubles point by winning two of the three doubles matches.

Barbier and Banoub teamed up for a 6-2 win on court one over Voloshyn and Steven Espinoza.
