WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson archery team posted a third-place finish at the 2022 Mid-South Conference 3D Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Raiders finished the event with five gold, three silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Britney McCarthy stole the show in the women's barebow individual shootdown, claiming first place with 57 points. Anna Krampe added another individual first-place finish, scoring 62 points in the women's fixed pin individual shootdown. Baylee Deer claimed second in the women's compound with 66 points.
Wyatt Burtts cracked the podium in the men's fixed pin individual shootdown in third place with 56 points. Austin Taylor claimed third place in the men's compound with 66 points.
T Sanchez turned in a fifth-place finish in the men's recurve individual shootdown as Jacob Cook qualified for the barebow individual shootdown, finishing in fifth place.
The Blue Raiders then added three first-place finishes in team games while adding two more second-place finishes and a whole host of third-place finishes.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 13-16 when they compete at the USA Archery 3D National Championship in Foley, Alabama.
