INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team fell to NCAA DII member the University of Indianapolis 7-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Firas Ben Chouikha and Sebastian Junqhanns fell in the No. 1 doubles match to Tom Zeuch and Edgar Destouet 6-2 while Tiago Almeida and Lucas Marques lost in the No. 3 doubles match to Nikolaj Talimaa and Matthieu Derache 6-2.
The results gave UIndy the doubles point. Jan Silhavy and Anatoliy Voloshyn were tied in their doubles match 4-4 when it was called.
In singles play, Silhavy lost 6-2, 6-1, Chouikha fell 6-1, 6-2, Junqhanns lost 6-2, 6-2, Almeida fell 6-4, 6-2, Voloshyn lost 7-5, 6-1 and Marques fell 6-0, 6-2.
Lindsey Wilson now turns their attention to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship as they take on No. 2 Keiser on Friday at Overland Park, Kansas.
