WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team posted a fifth-place finish Friday at the Jenna Strong Invite.
The Blue Raiders were one of 37 teams competing in the field that was made up of NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA schools. Lindsey Wilson totaled 151 points in the 8K race. The Blue Raiders had an average time of 26 minutes and 43.98 seconds.
Nolan Foushee posted the best Blue Raider finish coming in 15th with a time of 25:58.78, Justin Stearns also posted a top-20 finish. Stearns came in 18th finishing in 26:03.97. Marti Molins came in 43rd (26:50.48), Santiago Nunez finished 50th (27:05.48) while Logan Bullock and Marcus Abel finished in 72nd and 73rd with times of 27:41.16 and 27:41.86, respectively.
Blake Mullins posted a 90th-place finish with a time of 28:08.73 while Daniel Aikas finished with a time of 28:47.06. Zach McCaslin finished 133rd (29:06.06), Kevin Cuin came in 137th (29:09.69), Zach Jewell finished in 170th (30:03.49) and Jace Cowman finished in 194th (30:39.35).
The Blue Raiders return to action on Oct. 20 for the NAIA App Challenge.
